About the Project

This is a non-commercial educational project, which came about as an expression of the desire to share with readers the world over at least a small part of the immense spiritual treasures accumulated by the Orthodox Church over its two thousand years of history.

Our Mission

The purpose of the library is to make English-speaking readers familiar with the Orthodox spiritual heritage that has come down to us from the depths of centuries and millennia, which has a living continuation to this day. We want to include in the library the most important, essential and time-tested texts from the heritage of the Orthodox Church. The library is of interest to both clergy and scientists, to all believing Christians, as well as to the widest circle of readers interested in the Orthodox heritage throughout the world.

Current State of the Project

The project is ongoing and we are developing a full-scale website. The webpage you are currently reading is just a small presentation meant to give a general sense of the future digital library.
